Forever

I have lost my strength to stand, my will to fight
the power to know wrong from right,

i pray for help, i still love her and i dont know why,
left on my knees crying "why"?

I lied to myself, believed it would last,
ignorantly forgetting the history of the past,

I cry when i see her, oh the emotional harm,
with her smiling, holding onto his arm,

I can take it no longer, the pain ive felt from the start,
as i thrust the blade into my tattered heart,

i lie here dying, listening to our song,
with a note that reads "forever didn't last that long".
