Demon Of Fear ( 1 of 2 )

by NIDAL   Jan 28, 2013

I traveled the hills and valleys of my Fears.
Seeking the Demon of my Tears.

I reached the lake of Drunken Shadows.
Screaming through the Black water for the demon it rears.

Thunder and light shaking everything in sight.
As the slithering mist draws near.

The Fallen Angel rises through the Darkness of his cries to Pronounce:

"I am zindiga and Daxtum of the legions.
Who dares to call my ancient creed?

I am the destroyer of souls and betrayer of dreams .
Who are you to Judge my deeds."

At last in the presence of the tormentor of pasts.
My moment of truth is so ever clear.....

To be continued in Part 2

(Zindiga-Fear in Assyrian( language of ancient people of modern day Iraq)/ Daxtum-Demon of fear in Aramaic ( ancient language of people in the time of Jesus)).

    Hello,

There is so much dark imagery here that it takes me into its world, well almost. I could almost hear 'fear' speaking from the page.

I realise this is the first part, so let me know when you post the second part.

    Take care,

    Michael

Thank you for your comments... yes Fear talks in all of us... the second part will be complete once I defeat Fear in me... not there yet..
