Love

by Gary R Priester   Feb 5, 2013

Love is more than life itself
It laughs at time
And scoffs at wealth
It races past the unseen star
Where light cant reach it is to far
More precious than our wieldest dreams
It's strounger than mans' greatest schemes
It climbs tall mountains, crosses seas
Brings tyranny to its knees
It can be great or very small
A new born child or a bright red ball
To recognize it is our charge
For if we miss it will leave scars
But when we find it along the way
Our one true love or a child at play
It gives our lives a purpose then
We give it back to our loves and friends

...Inspired by the bible...
...my attempt to define Love...
