The Forbidden One

Impossible future, a lot at risk
Exposing the ones they care about
Along with a history of regrets

Dark woods, wind flows, scary crows
A handsome pale man all alone
Gorgeous damsel in distress
Peach skin, rose cheeks, long black hair
Beauty like a heiress
He heals to her wounds Intrigued by this woman
He thinks who he assumes
Love from his past, although distraught
It is not what he thought

Love at first is what she believes
As they remember when they first met,
Walking along, underneath the trees
Unknown man walks upon
To the pale man he is completely drawn
Recognized from a disaster years long ago
Pale man runs off, woman confused
A lot of explanations unknown

The unknown man she seeks
Him unsure to or not speak
He slips a written note in her purse
Whispers in her ears to do the research
At the library she frighteningly sits
Reading news articles from past crisis
Unexplainable missing people
Unexplainable animal attacks
Unexplainable image of him
Along the crime scene in the back

As she ponders what she saw
How could that be him if he sixteen she recalls
Mind racing faster than a horse on a track
As all the descriptions fit her facts Skin pale and ice cold
Young looking, never grows old
Rare appearances and speed
Strength more rare, than the average eye sees

She runs through the streets
To his house she flees
Sound of pounding from her knocking
Her heartbeat just as loud mocking
Door opens as she sees his face
With the blood of the unknown man dripping from his fangs
