She's not really here

by Steven   Feb 12, 2013

Hands that once felt so warm and soft
by someone who once meant the world to someone
only now staring at the distance
awaiting for the better life to return

smell her scent and memories
that were once so important before
only now split with distance
that even a line can't be seen

she's not really here anymore
no matter how hard a person dream
of turning their back for the same old embrace
nobody is waiting anymore

love can be cruel sometimes
for those who might be nice
even when one heart is pure and innocent
nobody will ever know the truth

stand still and tall
no matter what might knock one down
she's not really going to be here anymore
since it will forever be a lost love memory
that can't seem to ever go away
when one heart is broken into two in the end
