Beautiful Rose

by Daylight Lucidity   Feb 13, 2013

Catch the stars as they fall,
As they fall upon the fire eaten ground
Feel the rain as it pours its tears amongst it all
And feel the pressing silence break you down.
What if I were to tell you a secret,
One that can fix all of this despair?
As you walked within this desolate place it remained hidden
From your beautiful eyes, I shall make you aware...
Take my hand, beautiful rose, together we'll live
With a love that is more than love
Enchantingly to you my heart, my soul, a new life I'll give
With you on my arm we'll fly above
All the destruction, horror, loveless tragedies
Into the night sky that is black as pitch
And amongst the stars we'll have clarity
While the moon, so bright, your beauty it shall enrich...
In a world so cold, beautiful rose,
Warmth, sanctity, seems so farfetched
And true love no one knows
I beckon to you, witness my hand outstretched.
Catch the stars as they fall,
As they fall upon the fire eaten ground
Feel the rain as it pours its tears amongst it all
And feel the pressing silence break you down.
Beautiful rose, please, take my hand
I love you immensely, irrevocably,
I promise to take you away to a better land
Within the sky, with the stars and moon watching closely.
