The Maker

by beauty from ashes   Feb 14, 2013

I wish i could tell
Every lonely heart
Not to give itself away
To anyone unworthy

Dont you see, little heart
There is only One
Who can hold you
Without causing wounds

He created you.
He loved you
When you were unloveable.

When you rejected Him,
He never left your side.
When you chose others,
He still chose you.

Little heart there is only One
Worthy enough to hold your key.
His love lasts for eternity.
His love never fails.

This is so great. I love. love. LOVE. this poem.
Wrong category, though. This falls under "Poems about life" and "Faith and religion." c:

    Welcome to P&Q my lovely.<3

This poem was so truthful. And the ending felt like "BOOOM. Point blank. No wiggle room for opinion from atheists."

    His love lasts for eternity.
    His love never fails.

    ^AMEN.
