My Little Piece of Heaven

by Daylight Lucidity   Mar 12, 2013

No, I admit that I've never been strong
Never really fended for myself
I believed all that they said, that I was wrong
A sin if you will, that I was undesirable...
But now, as I look within your bottomless eyes,
My heart, once silent and forgotten,
Beats after such an incredibly long time
I feel like, maybe, I can understand the meaning of the love I've always wanted...
Your lips, pink and soft, so inviting
Hypnotize me as I hold you in my arms
My piece of heaven
Resting contentedly in my embrace and the tears return
But these tears I shed are not of sorrow
Nay sorrow, but of pure joy
You tell me that I'm not wrong but right
As I fall deeper in love with you, a love no amount of hate can destroy.
Hold my hand, walk with me
My little piece of heaven,
Into the sunset like a fantasy
We dream of, becoming my loving angel...
I used to believe that I wasn't meant to be
But your love, my other half,
Has set me free from the chains of deceit
And found me, taking me to the forever
One can only dream of...
My little piece of heaven...
