Take Me Back (not by me written by Catherine Gordon)

by Jay Colon   Mar 13, 2013

My mouth is a flail,
The weapon in this war.
while my heart is the sacrifice,
Constantly being torn.
See my brain is rather timid,
So scared of the flail.
That rather then stopping it,
She lets it go off trail.
The vile darkness in her body
Doesn't care who or what is spared.
She only thinks of the moment in which she is currently there.
Oh if only that brain would grow some balls.
If only the heart would cease paying the toll.
Maybe if they joined forces, and told the darkness "No!"
Then maybe oh maybe. JESSIE wouldn't have to go. She wouldn't feel the pain that she feels now. The arguments would vanish without an ugly sound.
If the darkness is defeated, can we be one?
If the darkness is defeated, we will have won.
But heart and brain can't do it on their own. It needs Catherine's all and Jessie' s love.
So here is a question from brain and heart at Cat.
Jecelica Colon. Will you take me back??
