Slow Dancing in a Burning Room

by Daylight Lucidity   Mar 17, 2013

We feel the heat breathing upon our necks,
The flames licking at our skin,
This room is burning all around, it gives this amazing effects,
As we fall deeper in love than anyone has ever been.
We slow dance in a burning room,
The flames of orange and red illuminating our silhouettes
Our love, in its spotlight, is fully abloom
And we cling to each other as the fire burns our regrets
Leaving us with only one thing:
Love.
The moon pours into the blaze
While we sway and dance to the ghost of music,
We see our demise but are welcomed by its praise
And in this night, this room, we are swallowed by its beauty.
Like the Titanic, we go with grace,
With memories so wonderful
Engulfed by our eternal embrace,
These flames seem so caressingly gentle...
We are lost in our last night,
Where true love is born,
Where soul mates are reunited,
As we slow dance in a burning room
And kiss the flames that reside on our lips.
The floor is scalding, the walls are burning
Our bodies intertwined and twirling so sweetly
So close but still we're yearning
To become closer, one, our hearts forever singing.
In this most precious of nights
Our love shall never burn out,
This fire is us, our passion, our eternal light
And as we slow dance in a burning room,
We die, but live on,
And create the path for lovers to come.
