God's Strength

You discarded me, you gave me away
You discounted me and you left me to fail
To writhe in my emotions
You forgot about me
But one day I shall return
No longer a shadow but,
Wearing the crown of salvation (1)
Filled with the promises of God
Strengthened by his will to receive his blessings
With the talents I've earned through pain and suffering (2)
I have burned being fashioned in God's likeness (3)
With God's Holy Spirit in me, how can I fail (4)
