Help Me

by WritingtheStars   Mar 18, 2013

"Help me, help me"
They call to me.
It's always me they call for help,
and it's always me who helps them.

"Help me, help me"
They call.
Whether it's something trivial,
or something completly serious

"Help me, help me"
They're calling.
They seem to think I am a miracle worker,
that I can just snap my fingers and things would be okay.

"Help me, help me"
They call again.
Their calls are getting more constant.
After one gets help there's always one waiting their turn.

"Help me, help me"
They're starting to get louder.
I can't always help you, I'm sorry,
I don't always have the answers!

"Help me, help me"
They're screaming it now.
"Shut up!" I yell.
"I have my own problems!"

"Help me, help me"
I sob.
They only want me to fix their problems,
but nobody will fix mine.
