Best of Two Worlds

by Steven   Mar 21, 2013

A line must be drawn between us
where our back are facing each other
how we are unable to understand one another
even when we try to break the distance that was place

We live in two different worlds
even through we breath the same air
walk on the same floor below us
but somehow our lives are different

A boy who enjoys video games and joy
watching streams about e-sport each day
playing games as if he was a pro-gamer
gamer lingo and puzzle words he speaks
he lives in a world of games and entertainment

A girl who enjoys fashion and music
where one song is enough to put on a dance
clothes that look the same to others
but in the eyes of a pro is truly amazing
she lives in a world of beauty and creativity

The best of two worlds would meet one day
just from sitting next to each other in class one day
words were shared and interest were learned
the joy of laughter and happiness bloomed
could this be a love that no one expect to happen?

Even if the truth and lies could never match
somehow these two were able to find the crack in this line
to hold each other hands and hug one another tight
as if the world would soon end one day
love was found, but unable to express out loud

The boy was able to find a new world he never knew
of fashion and music, that he never bother to understand
The girl was able to find a new world she never knew
of games and e-sports, that she never quite understand
even through they were both from two different worlds
they somehow opened their hearts to understand one another

just for a chance to become whole once again
as if love was the ropes that tied these two together
it was a lack of expression and words that kept them apart
one was a nerd that was to shy to speak toward a beauty
the other was a out going person
that couldn't use old methods to approach
someday this love will happen
even when people might be from different worlds
if their heart is somehow linked with one another
they will find the switch to turn up the love in their hearts one day
