Earthbound

by Skyfire   Mar 22, 2013

There was only heaven and the sea,
and a brief wind among the stars
that shone like clockwork.
a little while yet, and the tide
would rush upon the night,
all gallant like frothing white horses
pounding out their dismay
at finding themselves
earthbound.

This is simply amazing. I love the imagery you used and how it's all in sync and drives the story. It's like an excerpt from a fantasy novel, and there's just enough to keep you engaged, while wanting more. Nice work!
