SIN INTO ACCEPTANCE

by Joshua Jackson   Mar 26, 2013

Born to find a way
Forced to live a life
Mistakes will be made
Things will be sacrificed

We didn't have a choice
Knowledge helps us out
We created our own voice
Decisions are what life is all about

All have sinned with time
innocence is quickly abandoned
We come to accept life for what it is
Which is whatever life hands him

Evil will never go away
Such a big pill to swallow
Even if my heart is filled with good
I don't know what evil will bring tomorrow

I may not be perfect
But I hope to be heaven sent?
I am just trying my best
To turn my sin into acceptance

Very good write!! I really enjoyed this. The flow is flawless and I love the ending. The last word is the last stanza was nonrhyming. Good call!! It made the whole piece. Interesting subject also. I look forward to seeing more :-)

This poem is truly unique, I like how you mentioned that no one can stay sinless, despite their good heart or intentions. We all have sinned and have made many mistakes, but we can't accomplish nothing by dwelling on sins we've already committed. I think this is a strong poem and that the simple words used makes it better.
