A True Friend

by Ten Feet Tall   Jul 1, 2004

I hide my feelings,
My true feelings,
Most people don't know that,
They think there is never anything wrong.
Even my closest friends think that way,
They never think to ask me how I feel,
But you,
Even without asking,
Just seem to know how I feel.
Maybe not exactly,
But you think enough to figure out something's wrong.
I don't know why you do that,
I know we're friends,
So you should ask how I feel.
But it's just strange,
Like when we talk on-line,
You can tell when I'm upset,
Or angry,
Or really happy.
Even when I don't tell you I am.
Or maybe you are the only one,
Who pays attention to what I really say,
And actually understands what I say,
Like we are on a separate level then the of my friends,
And no one else understands us.
But if that's the case,
Then you would be my only true friend,
I?m so glad that it would be you,
And not someone else.
Thank you for being such a great,
Understanding,
Loyal,
Awesomeness friend.
