Worry About Me

by Ten Feet Tall   Mar 19, 2006

Worry if I don’t smile
Or if I wear a frown
If I’m not giggling
Or if there is a cloud

Worry if I’m not me
If I’m dazed and confused
If I’m a little bit lost
Or if my heart gets bruised

Worry when I’m sad
When I sit with you and cry
Worry that when you leave
I may not get by

Worry when you’re gone
And when I’m all alone
When you are by my side
Or when I’m out in the cold

Worry if you do better
If I’m out of line
If you’re a step ahead
Or if I fall behind

Worry for me when I fail
And for when I fall
Worry when I’m a nobody
When I feel so small

Worry that I’m unstable
That I may get led astray
And please pray for me
That tomorrow is a good day

Worry for me always
Even on the good days
Because your smile and laughter
Helps me through the haze

Worry because you love me
Because I’m your buddy
Because you know your hug
Could be what saves me
