THE GLASS SHOE

by Tom Essien   Apr 4, 2013

Like a child with no sense of consequence
Your innocence can not be over rated.
Your eyes holds the message of which you've choose to ignore
That love lives in them.

Tonight might hold so much promises of freelance but commitment bears comfort.
How did our friendship become too dark to comprehend that even mere words lack the strength to qualify the phrase "I LOVE YOU".

Sometimes the best things in life are the hardest thing to do, becloud by our false class.
What more would fulfil my dreams of being with you than your magic key to unlock my reality.
So be my woman, share my world.
Be my friend, my love and my all.

I won't want to go to Paris without you
So let me love you this way by my side and in your heart
And your smiles lighting my world alone and your eyes brighten my path to greater heights......
May I lie in wait at the mercy of your own time?
Then how long, since I have no idea of the time.

Yet you will promise not to twist yourself into a knot because of a deluded spec.
Just alien your steps with mine in the dance of life, as the clock ticks twelve and you'll see how the glass shoe fits at noonday.
