Let The Rain Pour Down

The rain is falling and falling down
farther and farther till it hits the ground
It shows me its blessing and not its curse
for without it dirt would have no worth
Rain must come to have April showers
to raise up plants and beautiful flowers
Rain must first show its mark
to create a rainbow inside the heart.
So before you lament of your life
and complain in the pain of your strife
Remember that God brought rain down on you
to clean up your heart and cleanse you anew
