I miss you...

by Rozalina Reyes   Apr 29, 2013

Come back and let's dance.
Dance and drink and smoke away
the lies and hate.
Do you even know what happened?
Do you wish to know the truth?
Tell me, tell me
little tadpole
how is the water...
I know that monster hurt you.
Let me be your harbor.
I will always hold you in my heart.
How silly am I to keep you there.
But I don't care if it takes a trillion years
I'll be waiting here for you to come home...
I see you as you were
happy but hating.
No explaining.
Doing only what you wanted
not letting a soul tell you where to roam.
then it changed and you ran away
you went where he told you.
silly girl, silly girl
don't you know I loved you?
I'd have kept you happy safe and sure.
You know best I'm sure
in your face mask and leather.
The sharp points of your nails
the length of your hair
and the feel of your skin.
I don't care if I wait forever.
I want you.
I need you.
The sun doesn't set or raise
without me thinking of your eyes.
The ocean turns sand and tide
and every time I wish you to be mine.
I might as well be dead
for you see
you always meant so much to me.
I was too stupid and foolish to
make you my one
to afraid and young to be open with you.
I let my closet fears hinder the
way things could have gone.
I miss your kiss
your licks
your nails in my skin
the way you felt as i held you
the smell of your leather
the sound of your laugh.
If you'll ever take me back...
please take me back...
