Ghost town

by Irena   May 6, 2013

Another step and I will travel through time.
The dust is covering the step marks I once left on this same street.
The silence is disguising my laughter that once made you smile.
The wind wiped away the memories I made here.
It's like I never was here,
like you never loved me,
just like I never knew you.
The same place, but yet so different.
My paradise feels like a foreign place,
loveless, cold...
without you.
A ghost town.
I'm walking through my past, with all my ghosts around me,
missing the ghost of you.
