Like a bird on my shoulder

by Irena   Jun 8, 2006

Like a bird on my shoulder you're whispering to me
I'll admit why I hate when spring comes
I'll share this one more night whit the stars,
I'll cover you with the sky
when you close your eyes.

I'll melt the ice of your lips,
I'll give all I have
for your eyes,
Like the moon
when it shines on your window
I'll keep you safe and worm when you go to sleep

I don't know how to
escape my dreams,
and I don't know if anyone loves you as much as I do,
but I know that this night wouldn't hurt as much,
if you didn't loved me.

Like the smile on a summer night you disappear
I know you won't come,
but yet I wait for you,
You'll fell the love I'm sending tonight
you'll know that I'm awake
when I you go to sleep.
