I enjoyed this Poem, specially the ending. I know I sound cliche but you do have nice endings. In my opinion.

I think we all go looking for love and this is one poem many will relate to. What I like the most is the way you tell a story while adhering to rhyming. ( it's kind of tough) specially that you manage to stay on topic.

Very well written, rhyming poem by Robert, although if I may offer a little advice?

Perhaps:

1/People are lies, what 'they' say is 'deceitful'

2/Out of the rain, and always in my 'sight'

Think this sounds, rhymes & flows much better, otherwise spot on!

A very good message about love and the meaning behind it gives a sense of a deep sadness. The joys and pain of love never ceases to touch a heart...take care.
