RIVER STORY

by Dr sarat sonowal   May 7, 2013

It was the wily red river
Making its way through the narrow valley
With its thunderous rapture
Breaking boulders
Flowing spirit of the river ghost

On the other side there's a man with his flute
Can't say what he's playing
But is filling the canvas
With a song unheard
With every note
The river dancing
With every note
His heart's searching

Such an ambience
Melancholic and mysterious truth
On the other side
Here, Iam
Lost! Watching the old man playing his mystic flute
