A Poet's Apology (In Response)

by Alexandria   May 15, 2013

A willful thoughtful poet
Does not judge any guilt
Thats not how her brain works
Thats not how her heart was built

A poet deals with feelings
Enough to fill a page
And while she writes her words with love
She sometimes writes in rage

A poem written in the dark
Meaning misconstrued and twisted
It wasn't meant to blame
Only to release pain and feelings wasted.
