Priest or Gardener, I need both

by Ole Carsten   May 27, 2013

There are no difference between love and gardening,
Both is about care and tenderness for body and mind,
Keep the flow in nourishment and sweetness,
Setting the roots either deep in body our soil.

Some needs kiss to flourish, some water to grow,
Both need lots of sunshine, to feel the skin glow,
Transforming the vitamins and minerals,
Or counting the kind words and loving hands.

In paradise the soil and belief is one,
The faith and love is blended into a holy glory,
Fixed forms transcends to spirit and emotions,
Eden is a perfect soil for love and eternal life.

There are no difference between a priest and a gardener,
The flock has stretched its roots in nourishing soil,
Either for their body or their soul, both needs advice,
And they need tenderness to survive nature's storms.

As I need both, I am not shy to tell about it,
I need love for my soul, for my wellbeing,
As I need the vitamins from a good vegetables,
And I need the sweetness from your kiss and fruit.
