The parents who never cared

You always say
you love me you care
but how come all i hear
are annoying high pitched screams
which are actually your voice
you say you always listen
but how come you didnt hear
me cry myself to sleep each night
you say you are always there
but how come you treat me
unfairly and like a slave
you say that i have no heart
but the truth is you are the one
who made me this way
i cried
i burned my skin
and you took away my childhood
you took away my freedom
you even took away my friends
but i guess at the end of the day
you two were the parents that never cared
