Something Beautiful

by butterflyqueen   Aug 16, 2013

I look down at his tiny face and am filled with a pride

I can't explain. My baby boy who fits perfectly in my arms,

I carried you for nine months, and now I have you here.

Your green eyes look up at me with a wisdom hidden in them,

Your blonde hair is sticking up all over your head.

I know as I look down at my baby boys face he was born to be somebody.

Babies are truly beautiful indeed. I loved how you describe your child. You should be filled with pride though as you are the mother (are you)? The way you say it though you have so much love for him and you really put your heart into this. I love the green eyes. A child is always filled with wonder and a baby is no different. We are all born to be someone! ! I love the emotion you bring here though it's short it is filled so much. 5/5

Actually no, I'm not a mother. I was asked to write this by a friend. And I want kids but not for a while so I wrote it thinking about my future child.
