Happy Suicide

I am here writing this letter,
Feeling like I've never been better.
You see today I will die, As I commit this happy suicide.
You see this day that I die,
Was and still is the best day of my life,
Tell my friends and family everything will be alright.
As I write this letter it is my way of saying goodbye,
Because after today...I will die.
I think what is the best way,
A bullet through the brain,
A slit neck or arm,
Then again I'm used to the self-harm.
Should I jump off and see if I can fly,
As I shout a final goodbye.

Goodbye world,
As my life begins to whirl
Goodbye life,
I have finally ended you without that knife.

So I am here writing this letter,
Feeling like I've never been better.
You see today I will die,
This is my final goodbye.

    Wow! I was hooked to this poem right away! I have gone through the same thing contemplating suicide. I always thought it would be better and I would be happier.

    A very well written poem, I can even feel the pain... There are a couple of mistakes like in the third and last stanza you wrote "finale" but if you take away the "e" it'll be perfect. Really great poem!

    You have so much to live for sweetie. I know life is hard, always has been, but you will getthrough it I promise. pm me if you need to,, I am here. I promise. I've had a lot off suicide attempts in my life, about five or six this past week, I understand, I promise.
