Broken Song

by Destnd   Aug 26, 2013

As easy as the Raven flaps his wings,
My Turtledove would easily sing.

Oh how she Sang a song of love,
My sweet sweet Turtledove.

A song so loud, so bold and true,
Your eyes might water...the sky turn blue.

But now that dove has lost its tune,
It might break hearts....cloud over the moon

Now as the Raven flaps his wings,
My turtle dove thinks other things.

Why sing,
Why fly?

I can't,
I won't.

So now the dove sings another note,
So a note on which the devils might choke.

She sings of lies and pain,
She sings...

She sings a tune for another man

So as the Raven flaps his wings,
The dove is gone, she doesn't sing.....
