Eternity Will Redeem Our Love

by Soulful Ensemble   Sep 6, 2013

I'm tired of reminders
And of the image of you.
Seeing you is harmful
And my soul can't rise anew.

How many years must pass,
Before the road ends?
I can't see the forest
And the road always bends.

With no plans to finish
This twisted, crippled story,
All I have is love
And an old letter that ends with "sorry".

And I'm sorry also
Because it takes two to fail--
And two to love
Though its to no avail.

Moving on is easy
Which is the saddest part.
I'm walking without looking
Clutching to my heart.

And someday who will remember
All of these empty phrases?
Burried beneath our love
Long burnt in blazes.

In the end I can't tell
Whether its sadder to forget this,
Moving on and growing
Feeling this new bliss.

Someday we'll be gone forever
But history will recall
The love we shared together
Until the final curtain call.
