If You Believe...

The blood red eyes,
Staring straight at me.
I was hurt and deceived,
And yet I felt sorry for him.
I stood there with my dress torn,
My arms tied together at the wrists.
I could only feel the breeze on my bare legs,
It was misty and cold,
And yet I couldn't breath in the air.
All I could do was stand and watch him,
Take advantage of me.
I was scared and helpless.
All I could do was cry in pain,
Until one day I gave in,
I cried out to the Lord.
An angel came down,
Saying "The Lord has heard your cries,
He has come to set you free"
The chains broke, and I arose,
The tears in my eyes were not for pain,
But happiness and I am glad of it.
The Lord does not allow pain and suffering,
Only I do, for I have acted selfishly,
Do not blame the Lord for your own sins,
He can only do what he can, if you believe...
