Dancing With A Demon

by Caitlyn Cook   Oct 5, 2013

I remember that night,
Were it all came through,
I didn't have to but up a fight,
And Everything was true.

I stood there,
As he stared at me,
Fear,
Was all I could be.

The flames of hell,
They sounded like rain,
coming from the never ending ceiling,
But full of sorrow and pain.

As the beat set in,
I was in a trance,
Some how I just couldn't look away,
noticing every last glance.

I grabbed his hand as he spun me around,
The laughing and love,
It was a beautiful sound.

No one cared about me,
Well at least I thought,
Till he came around,
Now, I guess not.

We danced until the sunrise,
The sun made him disappear,
I didn't care if he was a demon,
Love is near.

Finally,
A day where I didn't breakdown and cry,
That day changed me,
Now, I don't live in a lie.
