Just Want To See The Light

by Caitlyn Cook   Sep 27, 2013

You push me,
You bully me,
You and your friends,
I just want this to stop,
I cant even pretend.

You think it's funny when I run in fear,
Everyday I run home crying,
Wanting death to come near,
I wake up every morning and put a brave face on,
Hoping you wont be at school,
Hoping your gone.

You made me a loner,
You made me be depressed,
The light isn't with me,
Changing the way I see and dress.

I wish this wasn't happening,
What did I ever do to you?
Smiling isn't helping,
The light just wont come through.

I Had to go to a mental hospital,
Because this was too much,
Things didn't change,
As I hoped and such.

I stand there now,
Thinking what's right,
I still live,
I still got to fight.

This is wonderfully written! I'm sorry about all the pain you've gone through, I wish I could help! But just know that God will help you through it :) I hope you get through it!
The only criticism I have is that, in the fifth stanza and the second line "to" should be "too".
This is really beautifully written, I love your rhyming scheme you have created, and the choice of words is great :)
