A time to cry

by Jenna Balkin   Oct 7, 2013

What's happened to my life?
This isn't what it's meant to be...
I'm only twenty two huh?
- Nearly forty three.
No talents,
No profession,
Just wandering aimlessly,
No obsession.

I need an outlet,
A time to cry,
But busy in their own lives,
I smile,
And watch everyone walk by.

Didn't I help you once?
Wasn't I the only one who was there?
I shouldn't stop for others no more,
Because its overrated to care.

If I open my mouth to speak,
No one can really hear me.
Or maybe they don't listen at all,
Because I thought I said it clearly.

I need an outlet,
A time to cry,
But busy in their own lives,
I smile,
And watch everyone walk by.
