Afrikaans Poem

Ek sal klop aan die deur,
Ek wil sit by die vuur.
I sal sit op die floor,
En dan sal ek skree,
Tot jy my hoor!

Translation:

I'll knock on the door,
I want to sit by the fire.
I will sit on the floor,
And then I'll scream,
Until you hear me!
