Left Alone

by Amy   Oct 9, 2013

You kept me safe for so
Many years, keeping me alive.
You feed me, clothed me and
It felt like you were mine.
One day you said
You really loved me
Cared for me so bad
But all I could see
Were hatred people
Dumping me away...
I loved you like my family
But as you said I cannot stay
For I belonged to "The Hospital"
A place wear young kids lived.
I felt alone, unhappy and ran
Away forever, and somehow I survived.
I'll never forget those memories
Of your love and care for me,
But I won't say I miss you.
Because you don't miss me.
