Walls of peril

by Invisible man   Oct 22, 2013

Hurled into the abyss of hell,
you fight and climb the walls of peril.
You let your companions fall,
into a forever lasting yell.
Only to find yourself in the presence,
of those once there.

The darkness surrounds your light,
as you watch your self fade away.
Words are heard in your head,
while the forever lasting yells scare the dead.

You start to see a shimmering light,
in hope you scatter further on.
Up the walls of peril once more,
only to find that you have fallen, forevermore.

As the wind brushes your face,
you realise it was a waste.
Trusting walls of peril to hold,
when you let your own kind fall.

Forever you hear the yells of hell,
as you are no better then them.
Yet you chose to live,
while letting them perish.

For you're just another human,
just like the rest.
Always a disappointment,
never any help.
