Can't be courageous

In my dreams I stand with my head held High.
Not Invisible.
In my dreams I can do everything.
With strength.
In my dreams I have courage.

Then comes daylight like an alarm.
My courage fades.
It dies A cold death.
My hearts desires go with it.

I return to the girl I am,
Courage less.
No strength.

It seems to me I can never be courageous.
