Water ripples in the night

by mikaylar   Nov 9, 2013

Water ripples in the night, are more than just a simple sight .
Beautiful as they may be, they are very hard to see,
A water bug flys past my ear,
as i cry sweet gentle tears,
Stars reflected in the water,
Give me back my precious daughter ,
Crickets sing me fast asleep,
In cold water six feet deep.
Struggle struggle as I might,
I will never see the light.
Hold me closer as you cry,
I'll sing to you a lovely lullaby.
As morbid as I do sound ,
lay me in the precious ground,
By the lake across the water,
Lay me by my precious daughter.
