Self Evaluation

by Samuel Ernst   Nov 12, 2013

I swallow my self imposed isolation,
Contemplating my own resolve,
Evaluating my standers,
Considering the final resolution,

Who am I?
What am I?
Why am I?

Questions formulate the probability,
and it just so happens P is greater than .05
Random chance and benign consequence,

We are all pardoned to play our roles,
But I am the devil dressed in black,
While the angles sing of my suffering,

I push those whom I love,
While inviting my enemy to break bread,
The question was never if I'm sick,
But rather if the sickness controls me.
