Sleep Tight

by McKenzie Pratt   Nov 19, 2013

Gloomy night skies are welcomed overhead
As terror and fear have engulfed your head
As joyful children wait for the daylight
You go hide and preay; you'll never sleep tight
For the shadows are watching
Those creatures from hell
Have corrupted your mind and created a spell
That's cast over your body, your mind and your soul
And forced you to fear the safety of your home
Because even though angels are all overhead
The demons are crawling from under your bed
So go on and sleep tight
The night just feels so right
And just to make sure this is not a dream
You'll be sure to wake with a scream
As scratches and bruises cover you whole
You can only hope that he'll save your soul
Good night
