Morning Prescription

by Brijaal Dana   Nov 24, 2013

The birthing moments of a newborn day. The air is still and wrapped in a blanket of silence. Movement grudgingly begins. Sparsely lit vastness contained within. Eruption of sounds defy silence. Split-second abruptness gives way. Grinding, chattering and whirling are sounds devoured. Calamity of noise softened by trickling water. Audible cushions of blisters suddenly arise. Abundance of overwhelming sweet harshness emanates with bouquets of aroma. Mounds of snow white crystals lend comfort to otherwise bitterness. Clouds emerge in a murky pool. Alas, my first sip of coffee!
