Milk and Cookies

I came home from school, already having a bad day.
My stomach was rumbling, so I decided to get something to eat.
I opened the cubbert, and grabbed some cookies and milk.
I put them on the table, and my cat goes flying!
She lands on the table, and my milk and cookies go everywhere!
The milk spills on my head, and the cookies land in the sink.
I end up falling backwards, and land on my butt.
She then leaps, and lands on my lap.
Giving me a meow, and a snuggle.
I decided to laugh, thinking it was pretty funny.
That she did that, just to say hello.
That brightened up my day.
