West Way Of East

by Karolyn Kimsey   Dec 10, 2013

In this absent holiday
I wear butterflies with heavy wings

I write stories to the memories
My eyelashes stutter
Each time I blink

The simple parts of people
Are what decipher
Their truths mien

The silence of a person
Speaks for the in between

I had the hopes that I could hold him,
And he would sit inside my words..

After all these years
After all I have spoken for,
Maybe the mess could be reversed

I have this way of beauty
About the things about this life
Wrought with curse

He and I
Rapture and hurt

West way of East
Tears in the Dirt

For forever and a day ,
I'll stand up for the stand to love,
To love, just because..

You never know how long you'll get
So, smile at the touch

Go ahead beautiful darling,
Play the part of the sultry lush

Accept all invites
to behind closed doors

Before all of your time spent,
Turns into time enough

Tales of Star Crossed lovers
Who walk thin lines

Drink it all in
With the speed and the wine

I'll sing you a pretty love song,
But it ends the very worst

I love him best
He loved me first

West way of East
Tears in the dirt

    What a beautiful love!
if your loved one sitting inside your words means you are very lucky but its not happening to everyone.
    keep writing...
