When Society Wins

When Society Wins

She sits at home confused
Because of who she likes
You tease her and exile her
Call her names like, dyke

Its sad we're in a world
Where society is all that matters
Light skin vs. dark skin
Is this really our battle?

Thick girls aren't cute
Skinny girls are in
Long hair don't care
But wait, don't we all sin

How can you judge someone?
Because they look differently from you
So you won't be friends with him
Because of his shoes

Society is now controlling us
Look at what's on TV
Guys flashing wads of cash
Girls shaking fake bootys on the screen

Is this who you want
Your children to look up to
Your baby girl now in videos
But this is what you've allowed her to do

That girl who sat at home
Now resides in a coffin
Hung herself , because of you
That's what happens when society wins
