Nothing more

by redxiii   Dec 31, 2013

How to escape this reality I know
So stressed it even sets in my bones
Feeling sick and alone
Like I'm a summer snow
Ready to fall and melt away
As the sun warmly shows
Saying farewell this day
The heat from the sun glows
Falling and melting all the way
As the wind blows
Wishing and pleading to drift away
Before the frailty of my body grows
Like the snow turning to rain
Before the time my hair goes gray
Let my body feel no more pain
Burning to ashes to be free
Let it all become dust
Not returning from the flames
I know that day is a must
But speeding it up is my lust
Hoping to end and not be reborn
Nothing like a Phoenix that's for sure
I must just keep wishing and waiting for my nothing more.
