This poem makes me smile Andrea. From the title I think you wrote about a lady named Rose. I loved how you bring this character to life because of her personality. I loved how you take one person and make her life shine through. There is something special about a person who is youthful inside. And I think that is what this person is. They are trying to live life to the fullest before they pass away. I love the wording in thisbbecause it connects to everything and the ending is perfect. I loved the use of the word wilt. :). This poem is filled with so much hope :). The flow and title is great as well. You took something so simple and made is shine. Well done.

Congratulations on the win! Much deserved. This reminded me of beauty and the beast, with the rose...yet I sense this woman is looking for love and her time is running out, really sad reality but at the same time, beautiful and captivating.

Congratulations on the win, Andrea! It is most certainly deserved and this poem just made me smile! It is about a woman living her life to the fullest while she still can, focusing on every detail and making sure the world knows she is alive and ready to take it on!

Every single line of this poem is drenched with imagery! From the bachlorette party to her catching publish buses and her on a mission to find all the things she has longed for: fame, fortune and love. Her spirit is immortal, just like the silk flower.

Congrats Andrea!! This was such a joy to read as I could honestly feel your words come alive and envision this lady. It's beautiful to have that much life and can almost read as a lesson or inspiration for others to make each day the best it can be. Lovely symbolism of the silk flower too. Glad you shared this one!
