Hidden

by Jaymi Lynn   Jan 11, 2014

Not quite as fine as ash,
In sheets as black as night,
Or thick as tar,
One might assume I'd use to try to hide.
No wall you have to break,
Or mystery you care to solve;
Just my word and its worth,
If worth your time at all.
But you are sweet and oh so kind,
And so decipher, you will try
But I tell you now, oh charming one,
There are no feelings nor infatuations of you
I dare to cloak and hide.

    I love this. Don't know why but I picture a masquerade ball and lovers dancing.
