Goodbye, a sweet goodbye,
I said to my love.
Standing there in the crowd,
I bid him the last farewell,
thinking I would get over him,
but I was wrong!
I tried to be so strong,
and believed I had moved on.
I met so many in my trail,
but could not find,
those set of brown eyes-
O the eyes, I would die for!
I never felt the love,
the care and the warmth,
anymore with anyone.
I promised, never to look behind,
But every time I failed,
and I lied a million times,
to myself and to the rest,
that I had moved on.
